Review on TEENTOK Rear View Rechargeable Bicycle Flashlight by Tim Wadman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits my needs perfectly. Good rear video recorder for bike. Excellent value for money and quality.

On a recent bike ride when a car sped past me, something the size of a sandwich or a soda pop may hit my face, just missing me. I wasn't sure what it was but was pretty sure there were some brainless people in the car but didn't have video evidence. So I was in the market to get a rear and front dash cam. After a lot of research and comparing other products (mainly Fly6) I chose TeenTok and it didn't disappoint. Special features: battery life. I expect this to be within about 8pm. My two hour drive uses 25% of the battery. Here it wins Fly6, which claims a much lower battery life.- Customer service. Once you figure out how to contact them, they will be very friendly and responsive. You can talk to the same representative for several days so you don't lose context. It took me a while to figure out how to contact them - send them a Facebook message with your Amazon Order ID and a QR code for one of their representatives is in the box. - The light is bright. 60 lumens versus 50 lumens on Fly6. The price is almost three times lower than Fly6. What is acceptable: Image quality is only 720p, no stabilization. Of course there is a trade-off between this and battery life, in which case I'm glad they went for battery life. In the future I would like this to be a customizable option. - For general video evidence, it's decent quality, except for the number plates. - You can see the license plates when the car is close and right behind you. In other cases it is blurry. It's not that big of a deal, especially when you pair it with a 1080p dashcam. What could be better: - User manual. A brief description of how to contact customer support or how to set up the app would be helpful. From the messages exchanged with their representative, here is how to connect the app to the device. Press and hold the power button; 2. Press the "Photo" button.3. Press and hold the "Photo" button, then "didi" will appear. The above enables Wi-Fi on the device with T03_{something} with the password 123456784. Download the RoPro Camera App from the App Store. 5. Connect your phone to the above WiFi and open the above application.
