Like the paint, it hasn't crumpled much from packaging as most new materials are steamed, but will crease after a day of tossing. Haven't washed yet to see how it holds up so can't say it's wrinkle free until it's flat after drying without the need for an iron. The flat sheet and covers seem reasonably soft for the price, but the fit is a bit scratchy/rough and thin because I can see and feel the normal feel of my mattress underneath, so I plan on wearing a soft pad. Otherwise it's what you pay for, you can't expect full luxury for the cheapest but it does get you closer to luxury on a budget.
