It worked for what I used it for.

I didn't buy it for security reasons. I bought this to use resistance bands on my inward opening door. The last thing I want is for the door to swing open and be hit by the biggest rubber band known to man. I pulled on the door to see how strong it was and my door would not open and the rubber stopper would not slide or move on the hardwood floor. But I cleaned the stain on the floor first, so maybe that helped.
