Well packaged with decent instructions. Tools included, except large wrenches required for post-installation adjustments. It came together with little effort, but it gets easier if you put it on the hitch first to keep everything stable. Lots of small stainless steel screws, washers and nuts, especially for attaching logo plates, but well worth it. Very professional looking, durable and easy to assemble and disassemble from the hitch. This seems to really help keep rocks and sand off the front of my RV and especially my boat. Pricey but I'm glad I bought this brand. I also used my hitch stabilizer to 100% eliminate any tipping and wobbling.
