I put 1155 adapter brackets on it and it wasn't making good contact with the processor. I would guess that there is a half millimeter gap between the heat pipe pins and the processor with the screws tightened. I ended up sanding the screw posts on the brackets to fit closer to the motherboard and so far so good. Also, the included fan is very flat for a snug fit, but doesn't move much air, so cooling isn't much better than a standard cooler. you can easily install the best 92mm fan on it, it's compact and fits in my small htpc case, but I'd rather use the more expensive noctua NH-L9i.
