The purchase did not justify itself at all.

I took it on the Ryzen 3400G, it makes noise in the load, but this is not critical for me. Naturally, he does not hold the declared TDP of 100W, he hardly pulls out even 65. In general, it is not very clear what made them make such a small cooler, when it fits even into the most compact mini-ITX cases with a large margin. There are no complaints about the radiator, apparently, I was lucky with it. But the fan was not lucky - it cracked after 2 weeks of operation. As a result, Zalman's case…

Pros
  • Compact size

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

It does not cope with the AMD 4300ge processor (35 W) as standard. Temperatures go off scale under 80 gr. slightly above average load. After replacing it with a normal fan of a standard size 92x92 (the screws will need to be found longer, for example, the size for mounting an SSD), I began to keep the processor temperature in the region of 55-65 at 800 rpm. You can take this cooler only in some very miniature assemblies, where the cooler height of 30mm is critical. Moreover, such a miniature…

Pros
  • 1. Height 30mm 2. You can put a normal fan of standard size 92x92.
Cons
  • 1. The fan is very thin, the airflow is very weak. In this regard, he has to work only at high speeds. Accordingly, noise. Fan to blow out immediately. 2. TDP max 35-50W. At a fan speed of 1500 - 2022 rpm. Don't get fooled by 4 tubes and stuff. Apparently, these tubes are made of a metal of low thermal conductivity. 3. Terrible mount, typical for coolers of this design. To reinstall the cooler in an already assembled system, you need to disassemble almost the entire computer. And most importantly, for what? in order to find out what its real TDP is 35-50W?

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

He works on a gold stump 5420, with a TDP of 54 watts, in a monoblock, in a very limited space. It does an excellent job, usually the speed is 950 - 1200. At a distance of 1 meter from the monoblock, there is almost complete silence.

Pros
  • Does its job.
Cons
  • Traditionally, an inconvenient way of fastening. 100 watts definitely will not pull, if only with a turbine screen.

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I put it in a mini-pc for the Ryzen 5 3600. The choice was small due to the compactness of the case and the inability to install a large tower. Overall, despite its small size, it's quiet, though I don't think it's any quieter than the Noctua. In general, the impressions are only positive, there are no complaints. To the case of Fractal Design Node 202 - that's it.

Pros
  • Compact Form Factor Rather quiet Low price compared to the analogue from Noctua
Cons
  • Didn't find

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

For the money - the best cooler for cooling the processor with a built-in. I additionally changed the fan to 120 mm, it became quieter. With its pros. Quietly cools the overclocked processor with a standard TDP of 65 watts. Also, captures the BPM zone. Turntable with PWM control. Small height - not much higher than the memory modules. It fits into the socket space without protruding. Cons: If it had a taller fan, or a more aggressive impeller, there would be less noise, and the cooling…

This is a terrible CPU cooler and should be avoided at all costs.

Boy where do I start on this IS-30 cooler, first of all its temps are worse than the regular Intel cooler. I'm running this on the factory Intel i7 9700k. When idling with the IS-30, my CPU runs @ 69c and 89-93c while gaming. I installed this on November 6th, 2020 and the fan died after 4 months of random PC gaming when I heard it freezing to death. I had already sent my stock Intel cooler back and felt like a total failure when I saw that my temperatures were lower than the stock IS-30. 42s…

Terrible low profile cooler, stay away

Nice size and good looks but that's all pros need. This cooler is no better than stock AMD cooler or stock Intel cooler. Everything I do, from gaming to work, this thing gets 10-15 degrees hotter. I installed it on AMD 3200G and Intel 9400 and in Asrock Deskmini. 3200G reached 95°C while playing. The stock cooler didn't rise above 70°C. The fan is terrible and sounds like a freight train is running in your room. There is no backplate and it screws directly onto the back of the motherboard. It's

Hard to recommend CPU fan

I've been using it daily for 2-3 months with a Ryzen 5950X (105W nominal power) on an outdoor test bench. I was too busy to set up my build properly. I have a processor with default settings, no PBO or anything else. This cooler REALLY can't handle the CPU at all. I know the CPU TDP is higher than what this cooler is designed for, but it doesn't really come close to cooling the CPU. The moment the CPU works for more than 1 second, it is basically a thermal throttle with a temperature locked to…

  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not bad

Very inconspicuous and cools well, but a bit louder than I would like

The fan is louder than I had hoped. However, it is indeed a thin profile and cools well. You have to choose between 12mm height and louder noise or something like 37mm height and less noise. This is a compromise.

Bedroom with AM4 ITX motherboard and AMD Ryzen 3800XT processor (yes, not the lowest powered processor, but either he is, or the much older AMD A8). Let's move on to the pros and cons of this heatsink: Pros: Great low profile design with multiple heat pipes. Pros: Can cool AMD 3800XT. no core shutdown or eco mode operation (<65W) but comes with Arctic F9-92 fan replacement (read on) Pros: Nice simple mounting mechanism (mounts to bottom of panel) Cons: Fan on is noisy, no static pressure . doesn't fit right?

I put 1155 adapter brackets on it and it wasn't making good contact with the processor. I would guess that there is a half millimeter gap between the heat pipe pins and the processor with the screws tightened. I ended up sanding the screw posts on the brackets to fit closer to the motherboard and so far so good. Also, the included fan is very flat for a snug fit, but doesn't move much air, so cooling isn't much better than a standard cooler. you can easily install the best 92mm fan on it, it's…

Great low profile but terrible fan noise

Bought these for my low profile HTPC. I needed it to be quiet, but the fan noise is terrible. I even tried reducing the fan speed to 1000 manually. But the bushings rub so hard that you can hear them. Too bad the size was too big. I thought of leaving it and adding a thin Noctua fan, but then the price is too high.

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Relief! I love this cooler!

I've been looking for a low profile cooler for socket AM4 for a year, maybe I'm planning to build a mini-ITX. I have a Ryzen 2600 that gets up to 80C when mining 3 or 4 threads. After installing this cooler, the average temperature dropped from 14°C to 20°C. This is an upgrade of the stock AMD cooler that came with the Ryzen 2600. The mounting brackets do not attach to the back of the motherboard. Be careful not to bend the circuit board too much when installing this cooler. I was surprised…

  • Good product for the price

30mm is a good deal, that's how I feel:

EDIT: The fan blade cracked after about 6 months. Very upset at how crappy the fan has gotten as it's not easy to find a fan of this size. Rating to 2 stars. Revain asks me to use the words "warmth, cleanliness and thickness". Strange descriptions as if referring to my cat. But enough of that. Let's listen to the crazy lyrics: the 30mm mentioned is true to size if you measure from the top of your CPU. The 2400G's CPU temperature peaked at 75C, but I didn't test enough to really see what it's…
