Poor build quality and design flaws

Two problems.1. Flow out of the plastic fitting at the junction with the brass body. No water flowed out, but enough to form a sizeable puddle after 24 hours. The threaded connector it attaches to on the RV isn't "deep" enough which means I can't get a really solid connection between the RV's hose bib and the regulator. Yes, I could add another hose washer and will do so as a short term fix until a new (non-Camco) regulator arrives, but it's still a design flaw.
