Review on Premium 7-Piece King Comforter Set: Exquisite Brown, Burgundy, and Black Micro Suede Patchwork Design by Linda Peoples

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works for us, but not for everyone.

I was a little nervous about ordering this because some previous reviews said the colors were "wrong", the burgundy was more of a dull red and so on. So I was delighted when the colors matched the image perfectly, giving it a really nice saturated look. The reason I'm only rating it 3 stars is that some people won't like its "thinness" or the material it's made of, but for us here in Florida it's perfect. It's warm enough for a Florida winter and not so hot in the summer that you have to get it out of bed entirely—you can easily fold it in thirds. Also, I prefer a duvet that keeps you warm rather than breathable, while many prefer breathable cotton so they don't overheat. It's all a matter of preference. The only complaint I would have, which applies to all, is that I have noticed that the panels hanging at the end of the bed clump together at the bottom as if the filling inside is falling into a heap due to gravity. I have to pick up the end, shake it, and manipulate the filler to get it back into shape, which should never happen in a properly made set. Reading other reviews, people also noticed that the Queen's quilt was smaller than they would have liked and that the California King's order was a better fit. That part is correct, but they failed to mention that ordering Ca. King makes the skirt and pillowcases too large to use. It was disappointing and I didn't think about that when ordering.
