Durability and quality are most important to me

Durability and quality are most important to me. So this flag pole set has things I like very much and another, that I have a concern with overtime about durability.Pros- 1. Mounting base is well made and has adjustable angles for hanging the pole. The 4 base holes lined up between my brick and allowed me to drill into the mortar. I did use different anchors other than what was provided but that was just a personal choice. 2.The ability to screw together multiple poles to your desired length is a nice concept.3. The metal rings that attach to the poles for hanging the flag are well made and secured to the pole with set screws. They provide the allen wrench and it all works smoothly.4. All the items have a nice finish including the ball on top of the flag pole.Cons-1. The sections of flag pole have very thin walls. Typical to other flag poles you might purchase. Since the poles screw together and are light gauge metal , I am concerned over time how well the pole will hold up to heavy winds. Using a small flag 2x3 with less poles/less length might need be a concern. Using a 3x5 typical flag with one less pole section might also be fine. However in my application , I am using all the sections with a 3 x5 flag and it seems like a lot of weight on the total sections of the pole. The complete set is very nice. The quality and durability of everything is very nice. I do question in wind and rain , how well the entire pole combined will hold up without bending. With all fairness it has not and I hope it doesn't. But I would be remiss if I didn't at least mention my concern about the thickness of the pole sections.

Pros
  • Made from durable aluminum material that can withstand harsh weather conditions
Cons
  • The paint may peel over time
