I liked the idea of the plastic free brush but the handle gets moldy very quickly and after 2 weeks of heavy use it starts to rot. Oddly enough, it cannot get wet, otherwise the wood will begin to rot, and the metal will rust. I'm doing my best to lead a plastic-free lifestyle, so I'm sad that it's not as durable as it needs to be for frequent use. The actual head is interchangeable, which is nice, but the handle isn't. Now I have to figure out how the hell I can take the metal part off to recycle it. I wish the handle had some kind of coating to keep the wood from rotting/moulding :(
