Worked immediately!

I've been using this device for a long time to record video/audio from three sources (one at a time, of course) - Canon VIXIA HF R700 camcorder, Canon Rebel SL3 DSL and a laptop. The only minor issue is that I had to connect the unit's HDMI output to a monitor before it worked. I have used it as a source for OSB as well as Skype.
