This is a small grow net. I have African cichlids up to 5 inches in length and these nets work well. There are a few little things that could have been better, but I was able to install them fairly easily. The suction cups that hold it face up, so the net must be hung from the lid of the aquarium. Not very practical so instead I had to hot glue different cups to hold the mesh to the aquarium wall. fry then it allows the fry to grow safely. I've tried others and they were either too small or there was nothing holding them to the surface of the tank. So for the money and a little tweaking this will do the job .
