Review on πŸ”’ High-Quality Tailgate Handle Latch and Bezel Trim for Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra - Fits Various Models and Replaces Multiple Part Numbers by Jason Morrison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple fix to a common problem

If you look at '99-2005 Chevy and GM trucks you will see that there is an obvious fault in the tailgate handle hardware. I see them everywhere with the bezel removed to allow the gate to be opened by pulling the latch lever after the plastic clips break. Mine has been running like this for 5 years now and it's getting harder and harder to work with so I found this replacement part and now it works like clockwork! The part fits perfectly and is easy to assemble. The quality is on par with the original, if not better. The costs were reasonable. I wish he had done that sooner! To be fair, I also chose to replace the rusted hinges and old latches at the same time. All fixes cost around $100! Nice that the tailgate works like new again!
