These handy, lightweight tongs are great for turning meat, fish, chicken or even vegetables in the pan or oven. I also use them to serve food. They seem to be fairly heat resistant and won't scratch the nonstick pan. There is a small pull at the base of the handle that locks the pliers closed for easy storage. The only issue I had was that one of the tongs didn't line up exactly and had to be rotated a bit to use it properly. It wasn't too much of a problem so I didn't go back. Time will tell if they hold up.
