This Tetra Water Care Aquarium Water Bucket is strong enough to get the job done. I have a 55 gallon tank for my two goldies. I know, I know. They're spoiled, but that's what you do when you love fish. Sometimes even such a relatively large aquarium can get dirty, especially at certain times of the year when warmer weather sets in, they try to circle each other and spawn. The water becomes cloudy and stinks. I pump it out with a Tetra Gravel Siphon, but for that I need a long pipe to pour water into the backyard. This 4 gallon bucket isn't big enough for my fish tank, but good enough for those days of the month when I just need to clear a gravel patch of its clutter. Overall I think this is a sturdy bucket. I took off one star for the operating costs.
