I'm not sure why it's so impossible to find a decent mini ATC fuse box without resorting to those outdated and oversized ATCs . But I originally chose this unit because it didn't use a common rail for fuse distribution as I had to split it 3-1. I was surprised it was so bulky, but overall it seemed pretty solid. The lid was tight and also keyed for one-way installation (I don't know why as there was no writing on it). The edges of the plastic that (unnecessarily) protect the fuse ends were a bit sharper than expected, and at one point I thought I'd cut my finger inserting the fuse. probably works well in spots with enough clearance, but it wasn't compact enough for my needs and I had a feeling it might be (the mounting tabs alone are 1/4" tall). I think he ended up almost 2" tall. Too big for my purposes so sent back. But for simple merge functions I don't see how this can fail.
