The front camera shoots no worse, but no better than similar devices in this price category, that is, at low speed and in statics, the numbers of neighboring cars are well read in the recording, but at a speed of 60 or more, the numbers of passing cars can sometimes be read, there are definitely no oncoming ones. But this is the case for everyone, this is not a minus, just a comment so that miracles would not be expected from the camera. But the next moment was important only for me, I needed a constant indication of the clock in mirror mode. And when I saw an advertisement for this device with a clock display on the box, I set out to spend my money on the purchase of this product. But first I asked a question about this through the same Internet resource and received a response from the Slimtec user: "Good afternoon, one of the modes allows you to display the time on the recorder screen without displaying the video image." Well I decided I went shopping. I bought it, read the instructions and did not find anything about the clock display modes. I tried empirically to set such a mode that there would be a mirror and there would be a clock and there was nothing else, but failed. On the one hand, the purchase became meaningless for me, because I needed a recorder with a constant clock display, but there is nothing about this in the instructions, so formally it is impossible to reduce the rating for this. So it’s just a count, the rating didn’t go down, but subjectively -5 stars. I expected that when connected to the mains, the auto recorder would work completely autonomously, that is, I turned on the ignition and that's it: the recorder writes, the mirror reflects, the clock is displayed on the mirror. But it turned out differently, you turn on the ignition and instead of a mirror, a picture from the video, and in order to get a mirror, you need to operate the button on the recorder body. Very uncomfortable. And so that the mirror and the clock would not work at all, if there is such an opportunity, tell me, who knows.
