Of the 3 suction cups, one wouldn't attach at all and the other came loose easily after about a day no matter what attachment technique we tried, ie. to the jar, add some moisture, add more moisture, etc. The third suction cup worked well. Our cockatiel liked to sit on it to look out our office window, so we modified the object by applying clear coat to the two suction cups. But that makes detaching a bit problematic. My guess is that the two non-working cups were old plastic or overexposed to sunlight or something.
