This light ring is easy to use, with an easy-to-use dimmer and on/off switch. I didn't even need the instructions in the box. It's a very bright light, so bright that I can't keep it at its brightest when I'm sitting in front of it. I have to black it out. However, if you're shooting further away, it's perfect. Photos and videos look best at maximum brightness. But since it's too bright to shoot that close, I also need to invest in some extra ambient lighting. I would definitely recommend this product to the aspiring photographer/videographer/YouTuber.
