I need to revise my review - I gave this collar 5 stars - sometimes I get overly concerned about a product - haven't really tried it - before review - I have to downgrade it to 2 stars - just because this collar should not be used on Golden Retriever dogs. Or if so, should the paint be removed when your dog goes into the lake. This collar has a buckle that can cause irritation and chafing when wet, and Golden Retrievers often develop "hot spots" under the neck. My golden never had one before wearing this collar! I liked this collar at first - it didn't smell like his other collars - but - this stuff got sticky after a while - I ended up throwing it away - actually - I ended up "not trusting" this stuff - I wouldn't put this collar on any dog recommend -
