All right, my pros and cons
Plain hoods. Thin single-layer fleece in the head area. I ended up sewing one inside the other to make two hoods, warmer and more reversible. A month after wearing it, one end of the elastic broke from the seam. Fits my 5 year old and 9 year old well. Decent price after doubling.
