Doesn't chop rosemary

This chopper has so much going for it that it's cordless, easy to clean and has two cup sizes, each with four chopping blades. Unfortunately, it does not grind rosemary leaves. I put garlic and olive oil in the jar and the garlic worked fine but the rosemary leaves were intact. At that point it was too late to chop by hand, too dirty.
