This is a great and easy fix for my litter box (4 cats). I originally just put it on the shelf and it worked fine. Now I have it hanging from the ceiling with a clip on a fan chain and there is no "box" or trash smell. The fan in this room is always on, so circulation is good. I live in the desert with little to no humidity so this can help with efficiency and it should be easy to "freshen up" in the sun. The best thing for me is that it has no fragrance. I plan to buy more for some of the rooms and toilets that remain closed most of the time.
