I purchased this shovel in October 2016. I cut it to make a sand shovel that I use with metal detectors to search the beach. So far the shovel has met all my expectations. Thing is, I paid $17.05. I am writing this review at the end of November 2016 and the price is $46. For $17 this is an AMAZING shovel! I guess I got lucky and someone made a mistake and entered a "value" of $17 instead of a sell price of $46. I wish I had ordered 2. The grand total of $46 is equal to other "food" scoops. You have to test yourself. If you don't need food grade snow removal or sand screening, there are more cost-effective solutions. You think it might be useful for others, click "Yes".
