I can feel the difference in weight compared to the class 3 lift it replaced. I paired it with a new 28" 5 point base and a eggshell gel cushion for a 3" boost in ride height of the chair. Now, it is the perfect height for me in the fully compressed position. So even if it fails, I won't notice or care.
