Reviews say that this coat is more functional than stylish and I agree, but it has some touches that complement the coat such as: the pockets are slits with stylish buttons next to it with and the fur is cut at an angle on the sides, making the fur narrower (see photo). The hood also fits perfectly into the collar. I had a fancy sneaker style raincoat prior to this purchase and I prefer this one as it really keeps the rain out. It's also quite warm and retains heat and is much more comfortable to wear than my other trench coat.
