I have bought several dehumidifiers from large retail stores. The basement worked fine. The only complaint I have is the noise, it's very loud and the car is very difficult to move. I was looking for something quiet and easy to move for my living room. After some research I came across this one and am very happy with it. It's quiet and light and works very well with small spaces. I used it in the living room, bedroom after the rain, it works well, meets my expectations. Recommended for a regular sized room, not a large open space.
