This item was purchased for an underpaid job I needed to do and appears to be working well. A lot of what I do is install custom lighting, fixtures, and other solutions for camping, off-road training, and racing. The main issue with any product sold to customers using SAE measurements is translation. 1/6, 1/5 and everything else used in SAE size descriptions doesn't work, waste your time and money with correct translation otherwise customers will guess what those sizes are and also list them in metric measurements . So far, in 7 weeks of use, the heat shrink tubing has withstood my customer moving harnesses away from them dozens of times without good plan or execution. The wires have been exposed to the rain many times and I have seen no evidence of the heat shrink tubing leaking moisture into the connectors. Most of the wires showed good adhesion with the heat shrink tubing, the connection could be made stronger so the movement of the wires didn't show color differences because it wasn't strong enough. The transparent tube helps check wiring for opens, solder or crimp connections can be easily checked visually to ensure connections are correct, which is paramount in racing and other applications. I recommend it to others for the above reasons, just find a better translation program or a person who knows how to properly measure and list it.
