Timer for Kids with Autism

My 8 year old daughter has autism and this timer works like magic, keeping her on track and letting her know that her school lessons won't last forever. Many autism timers set the numbers backwards and this is not very visually appealing as the numbers run counter-clockwise as expected. It's hard enough for my daughter to tell the time. When she first started using the countdown timer we bought first, it really messed up her timing technique (switched numbers). She had to relearn the direction and the 5-minute steps. In this T-Fal engineering, the numbers are clockwise following the natural order of things, which doesn't confuse my daughter because they follow the normal clock order. Timers work well with my three kids under 8 taking them off all the time. Fridge by placing them, hiding them, then playing timer finder. I'm impressed they haven't broken yet. The magnet on the back is much stronger than I expected. It doesn't move at all when my daughter's metal door slams shut. impressive. It keeps time well and unlike some similar timers you don't need batteries or a continuous beep at the end of the time cycle. I recommend this product to my friends and all parents of children with autism to help them feel better over time and help with homework breaks to reduce anxiety and fatigue. Cook? I have no idea. but i know they work great for my girl!
