Get used to it

My doctor recommended compression sleeves for a very long trip when I have to spend too many hours in the car. I bought the BeVisible Sports Sleeves and when I unpacked my first thought was - these things are really small! But I read the instructions on how to put them on carefully and then tried them on for a few hours at work. They were tight (as expected) and ok. Hey, this was the first time I used them. I really didn't know what to expect. I put them back on the morning of my trip. It takes a little effort to put them on and pull them up as they are very tight. But that's nothing compared to trying to take them off when you're in the very cramped passenger seat of a car with bags at your feet. After two hours I decided I didn't want to wear them anymore. Feet on the dashboard, I tried to peel them off. I think I pulled a muscle. But I was determined to try again. After the strenuous running during the holidays, my legs just wore me out. My legs were ready to fall. I was actually looking forward to sitting in the car all day so I didn't have to walk anymore. I put the sleeves back on and surprisingly my legs felt better! I didn't take them off the whole trip and didn't want to take them off when I got home. I think it took me a lot of exhaustion to get used to how they were supposed to feel. And I believe they have helped my feet recover from the injuries caused by so many daily walks. I recommend them to everyone I know who can use them!
