Great alternative to expensive juice boxes!

I've been buying expensive organic juices and sugar-free sodas for my son's lunch for the past 2 years. I recently decided to review our budget and see where we can make adjustments. Paying $1 for a box of juice seemed a bit outrageous, so I decided to explore my options. I bought them knowing they would pay for themselves within the first two to three weeks of use. I give diluted organic juice and lemonade and this is for my son's lunch and he is very happy. At first I was afraid he wouldn't know how to open it. (He's preschool age.) I came up with my mom's trick that worked well, using markers and drawing arrows that I've attached photos of. He had no problem opening them alone. He is happy and I save money! I had no trouble holding the smells. They seem to wash well. I only hand washed. It's a good size for lunch, although sometimes I wish they were 8 ounces instead of 10. But they're about the largest to fit in his lunch box. Update: I now have 3 sets of these plus some of the 10 oz. . They still hold up a year later! We use them for water, Gatorade, and soda pop. They don't leak, they're dishwasher safe and the kids love them (me too). I cook and make a batch of lemonade or juice at the weekend, fill 15 bottles and put them in the fridge for lunch or when the kids are thirsty! Good thing we don't buy juice bags anymore!
