These Genberg sharpening stones are great for sharpening a chainsaw on our Stihl. We use 30-bar chain and chain, and there's nothing worse than a dull chain. After hitting the dirt and cutting through a tree that had fallen in the nearby yard, the chain definitely needed sharpening. I'm just glad he had the joke to bring the new necklace I just bought him. This tree, an old oak tree, has fallen down, it's next to one of those abandoned houses where the grass is very tall and nobody lives there. The perfect tree for us. The Stone Mountain folks down that street gave us a thumbs up and stopped to thank us for removing as much of the poor old tree as we could. Anyway yes stone grinding, work in the chainsaw sharpener I bought him and he loves the sharpener and the stones. I wish the stones would last longer but that happens when you use a 30 inch chain. A lot needs to be sharpened.
