Review on Kanex Pro Embedder 2 Channel HAECOAX by Tabish Jadhav

Tivo mini does not have a separate digital audio output, only two analogue or HDMI channels. This adapter allows me to receive multi-channel audio from my old TOSLINK-only receiver. The only issue with the adapter (instead of giving it 5 stars) is that the behavior I've noticed doesn't match the Kanex website documentation or FAQ. The Kanex website states that when multi-channel audio is transmitted, it downmixes to 2-channel audio at the same time. (I was planning on using this for my analogue application in Zone 2. The adapter does not do any downmixing. It will only drive digital and analogue outputs with 2-channel PCM sources. Finally, the information in the documentation regarding the meaning of the Progress bar just the opposite of my real life experience.
