Review on πŸš€ Enhanced Performance: Walker Exhaust Pro-Fit 17883 Exhaust Muffler by Eric Longoria

Revainrating 3 out of 5

2 " pipe on one end, 2 1/4 " on the other end

I don't think so that this device fits . I ordered it for a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan (3.1L) which is a wheelchair transporter so the exhaust was custom made from the start. However, the inlet and outlet of this muffler are two different sizes. I believe this is a reversible muffler so you can fit it however you like. The "B" side is the smaller end (2" ID) that sits in the center of the oval on that end, and that side fits seamlessly up to the center tube. Then is the "A" end (the one pictured on the side of the oval) is larger (2 1/4" ID) so I'll have to reconsider installing it and using the larger diameter pipe for the rest of this custom setup. The best thing this muffler has to offer is the price. Since I bought it for only $25, buying a larger diameter tube might not cost much more. But I'd rather have a 2" inlet and a 2" outlet. This makes it easier to lay the pipe under the vehicle. Update: I've decided to return it to Revain for a refund. I checked the manufacturer's website (Walker) and they have a tool that allows you to search for mufflers by size, inlet/outlet diameter, etc. I did that, found one that I think would fit better and ordered it. .

Pros
  • FLEXIBLE SOLUTION -- Customizable design for easy installation and may require special fabrication and/or welding for installation
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
