This is a very easy light to install. I had absolutely no trouble installing this in the doorway of our old house. The build quality really leaves a lot to be desired. The body of the mount is made of very thin metal and practically does not bend. Since this is hardwired to the switch, touching it is a moot point. I doubt it will hold up well outdoors as the back of the metal isn't painted like the front. Although it says it comes with a bulb, I tore through the whole box and couldn't find a single bulb. Luckily my ceiling fan uses these little LED bulbs. A standard bulb will not fit. The lamps he uses are also called "chandelier bulbs". Overall it's a decent light but very weak in build quality. Should easily last a few years.
