This is a very easy light to install. I had absolutely no trouble installing this in the doorway of our old house. The build quality really leaves a lot to be desired. The body of the mount is made of very thin metal and practically does not bend. Since this is hardwired to the switch, touching it is a moot point. I love the convenience and easy installation of this detachable wall light. It works great if you can't or don't want to run electrical wires or want to save floor or furniture space.
