The heatsink has a smaller core volume than an OEM all-aluminum block. I drained 2 gallons from my existing radiator and it only took 1½ gallons to fill the new one. I believe the volume difference is due to the smaller plastic upper and lower containers. Everything else went together well, but the radiator mounting U-nuts were too big and I couldn't use the OEM mounting bolts. I threw away the sheet metal nuts and used 5/16" bolts with washers on each side and lock washers under the nuts. The sheet metal nuts for the fan shroud were the correct size and allowed the use of the original screws. The heatsink was poorly packaged, with an oversized box and foam inserts, almost all of which came loose during shipping. However, the main problem was that there is a FATAL MOLDING ERROR inside the filler neck, so no standard radiator cap will fit. It should be flat Fit 5/8" below the top of the filler neck to seal the cap spring, there is a sharp raised edge. DO NOT BUY THIS RADIATOR UNLESS THIS MANUFACTURING DEFECT HAS BEEN CORRECTED.
