The main problem with all striped boxes is fitting the damn metal into the bracket. That's not the manufacturer's fault, it's how these strip boxes are supposed to be made. But they work perfectly once they're in place. It is possible to fold down both diffusers and the egg crate. But again, you'll need some muscle to get all four bars into the storage box. That's the only problem. I wish it was 1/2 inch longer. The light is evenly diffused when using an external DSLR flash with a dome diffuser. No falling light. Make sure you buy an S2 type mount so you can mount these flashes in your camera. The old S-Type mounts are not suitable for vertical flashes.
