Lifebuoy fits in car

or at least a ski day saver. I just got back from a ski trip to the Santa Fe ski area. After a snowy night, I used snow chains twice in two days. The road to the top was 15 miles and I used chains for about 8-10 miles of it. At the beginning of the drive, my all-wheel drive Toyota Highlander got along well without snow chains on the cleared part. However, after slightly skidding a few times, I decided to put on snow chains. The process only took about 10 minutes and was very easy following the instructions. After that, the ride was very easy and safe without losing traction. It was really magical. I counted six other cars that literally fell on the road trying to do it in 2WD only. Look at the photo of one of them, as well as the photo on the white road, which I drove with snow chains without any problems. I strongly recommend using snow chains and not risking the expense. This is a simple and inexpensive solution compared to calling a tow truck or paying to have your damaged car repaired. This does not imply physical harm. A few tips: 1. Use work gloves during installation and removal to keep your hands warm and clean.2. Tighten the hooks tightly, otherwise they may break during movement. Don't worry, the chains won't fall off the wheel because of a lost hook. Just stop at the side and reconnect.3. You can practice beforehand to make it easier for yourself in real conditions that may be less comfortable for you.4. When removing the chains, you can turn the wheels sideways to easily find and unhook the rear hook.
