Children's toy, not suitable for the kitchen
This colander belongs to the disappointing category. In fact, the only advantage of this product is the price. As soon as you take it out of the box you will find that the box is stronger and weighs more than a colander. The base is loose, and the bottom part pops out and shifts. The one I received also had some type of charcoal that looked like black sediment. I'm not sure but I think it should be a kid's toy and not a real kitchen gadget. If you're looking for a quality strainer, look elsewhere.
