I loved these shoes because it is difficult to fit our daughter's AFO into regular shoes (she is 3 years old and has bilateral clubfoot). But when we received them, we realized that they don't match AFO at all. They were barely wide enough to fit in, and then when we tried to fold the flap down to close it, it didn't reach far enough. It seems the AFO ankle strap made it too thick. We couldn't close it due to the 2-3 inch gap between the sides of the zipper. I was so excited about her and then so disappointed. The hunt for shoes continues.
