As with any hearing aid I think it would be hard to be too excited about them, or the need to have them.I have found the sound to be crisp and clear, much like "normal" conversation. I use the molded thin tube, partially because it fits and stays in place better than the thicker straight tube. And the straight tube was a little too amplified for my needs. The thin tube cuts down on amplification and I stay with the minimum volume. It's molded and fits better too, though I had to apply some judicious heat and re-contour it. But after that, it stays in place quite well.Their ad says 4 channels. I may not be understanding that correctly as I find only 3 setting or channels. The noise filtering is OK around town, in the car/stores/small groups. But restaurants continue to be a challenge, as it was with my last, different brand, amplifiers. I would like a little more range on the amplification too, it's on the brink of too loud for my hearing loss.I bought two and had one fail. Customer service was very responsive when I contacted them and they sent out a replacement immediately plus a shipping label to return the defective one. Absolutely no complaints there.Overall, I've been happy with them. I do wish someone could dial in the restaurant filtering better though.
