I am new to pottery. I understand, although I haven't yet perfected the taper, centering, opening, or elevation. I don't have to be perfect as long as I have the right tools to fix what I can't do on my bike by hand. As for me, I get a lot of bumps up and down the walls. With this tool I can smooth it out once it's dry. This tool gives me hope. I still have so much to learn about my new hobby. I can't wait to finally know what I'm doing. So far I've learned don't worry about learning without the right tools. Tools are everything.
