Perfect replacement for the previous

This lock was purchased to replace an existing security lock for a patio door. I was sure if the dimensions are still the same as the existing ones. The one has been on the door since we bought the house 11 years ago that ended up breaking when we tried to open the door and forgot it was installed. The exchange worked great, although I changed the size of the receiving hole because the original was always a little tight and not fully aligned. This time I made sure the inlet hole in the door lined up and screwed in smoothly like clockwork.
