Bought the 20" model rated at 33 lbs. I connected it to my project and it worked great. I went to bed, got up in the morning and he didn't work at all. The actuator didn't even try to move when I activated it. I used my multimeter to test the power supply and controller. They seemed to work correctly. ) because it was a Saturday and they don't service their phones on the weekend. They didn't email me back within three business days so I ordered a replacement through Revain. The new device has arrived. Before I hooked it up I called PA to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong with my setup. I was not. I was fine. But I've been told that this unit can malfunction because the limit switches tend to stick, especially when the actuator is at 50% or more of rated load, and sometimes that's a design issue too. i Grease from internal components can penetrate the gearbox and interfere with their work. They told me to tap the ends of the actuator to unpin the limit switches or wait a while for the grease to settle and try again. I plugged in a new one, made sure it was at least 50% charged and also checked that it would stop before retracting to 100% and activating the limit switch. It worked great. I went downstairs for lunch and came back upstairs a few hours later and the new drive didn't respond as well as the first. I tried every trick the PA told me. Nothing. I called her back. They ran, they thought, the same exercise. When I told them none of this worked, they told me I just had to replace it under warranty. I don't exchange it. I'm sending it back for a full refund. I very much doubt I will buy more of their products. If they sell a model even though it has a few known flaws, I don't think I can trust any of their products.
