Review on Noctua NA HC4 Chromax Black Heatsink NH D15S by Joshua Carter

I'm kind of a Noctua fan pun, but for good reason. Not only does Noctua make a solid, well-researched, high-quality product, but they proudly stand behind their products and provide excellent support. These cases are a bit overpriced compared to what you get. Given that Noctua is the same company that sends you a free mount for their coolers when new chipsets come out, I expected these aesthetic additions to be a bit cheaper. They are completely unnecessary, like products like the NH-D15 SE AM4. I got this for working amazingly well without it, but it looks nice and is actually well implemented. Noctua could have designed new coolers with bezels attached and made more money off people like some other companies could, but they found a way to customize their products without forcing you to upgrade. I like that the mounting piece just snaps into place and the plate is attached to it with a magnet. It's quick and easy and I think it looks great. For the price I would have expected some RGB and if they were selling for $20 I would give these 5 stars as an added aesthetic product to their already great coolers. 5 stars for option and looks but overall they get 3 stars for the asking price. I can still recommend them if you want to give your Noctua cooler a visual boost, but the price is a bit high for what you get, in my opinion.
