Noctua NA HC4 Chromax Black Heatsink NH D15S Review

I have to give Noctua credit for finally getting on the customization bandwagon. It's amazing to see how a pair of cases can change aesthetically. Installation was easy. Just note and attach the fans BEFORE attaching the final covers. For me, the price was higher than what you get, which is essentially a pair of aluminum caps. Expensive for the price but they clean the radiator really well. In 30 seconds, the cooler went from an eyesore to a design feature. I definitely recommend them if you want to spice up the look of your PC. If you don't care about looks, please note that this doesn't affect performance in any way, so it's probably a waste of money.

I like the way it looks but at $25 it's quite expensive for something that does nothing. I've included many photos with different lighting, angles, and the pane of glass removed to reduce glare.

Another winner from Noctua! They were very easy to apply to the Noctua NH-D15S heatsink and work by directing the cooling air THROUGH the cooling fins instead of letting some of it escape at the edges. Installation does not require removing the heatsink from the CPU, so precession took about 5 minutes and required no tools at all. I'm kind of a Noctua fan pun, but for good reason. Not only does Noctua make a solid, well-researched, high-quality product, but they proudly stand behind their products and provide excellent support. These cases are a bit overpriced compared to what you get.
