Small lamp, big light
The lamp has a simple touch on button that can be pressed once. This is the perfect lighting for a room where someone else is sleeping. I touched it again - brighter, and on the third press everything it's pointing at lights up very slightly. It's designed to only emit light from the front, not the back, effectively keeping the rest of the room dark. Fourth press turns off the light. The wide base with clip works well as a stand when you don't have anything to attach. The arm bends in any direction to direct the light where you want it.
