Review on ⚙️ GE WR60X10168 OEM Condenser Fan Motor Assembly for GE Refrigerator - Genuine Quality by Anthony Record

Even when everyone said it would fit in my fridge, I still had to redesign the plug to make it work.

After looking at my fridge model for about an hour this model continued to show up as correct and when I entered the model at the top of the page after ordering it said YES this would fit your fridge . I went ahead and ordered a fan (white) and bushings just in case. Everything arrived the next day, except for the socket, which is still "waiting". I watched a few YouTube videos to make sure I wasn't in for any surprises. Seems easy enough and I've fixed many things and have more than enough tools. I empty the freezer and leave. When I finally got to the engine, it was obvious that it was not identical to this one. It was a plastic case. It's okay, things change, that doesn't mean it won't work, and this one looks better. I continue, I make an effort to remove the fan blades as no instructions tell me there is a clip to help hold it in place. I understand that if you remove the clip hoping not to damage the fan, it will be difficult to twist and pull the clip. Oh, and yes, the included fan was the wrong one (too big) so if I break it I'll lose some food. thicker than the other so when I inserted it into the old socket mount the mount bent slightly but not enough to say it couldn't work. I did that and started putting everything back together. Everything looks good, then I connect it. UHHHOHHH, both connectors are female. I look at the old one and understand that it was a man from the engine side. I take a quick look at the power settings and they were both 115v 60hz for both so I grab wire cutters and swap the connections. I wouldn't recommend anyone doing this as you can start a fire if you don't wire it properly. Now I'm back in business, I put everything back together, load the freezer, plug everything in and success. This is the quietest fridge in the last 6 months. So, 3 stars, it will do the trick, but I'd almost recommend taking the fridge apart to have a quick look at it for ease.
