Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ G953EV-P2 Universal Remote Control for Chamberlain, Liftmaster, Sears Craftsman, Genie, and Linear Garage Door Openers - 1 Pack by Kevin Compton

This one works. Patience is key when programming

Got this remote control so I can open and close my friend's garage door. He has a 2000 Liftmaster Security++ opener. Programming is a bit tricky, but you have to follow the order correctly. Here is the answer to the test: Hold down the II and III buttons until the light on the remote control goes out. Then press the button you want to use to control the opener the number of times indicated in the graphic. (do it relatively quickly) For me it was 4 times. Then press the "Learn" button on the opener. Wait about 3 seconds, then press and release the button you want to use to control the opener on the remote. If you encounter a problem, hold down the I and III buttons until the light turns off. This will clear the remote's memory. Note that you will have to relearn all other explorers. Then, when I went to my parents' house, I decided to try to connect their opener to the remote control. You have a Craftsman brand opener from around 2005. After the steps it connected to the FIRST attempt. Now I've programmed all three buttons for three different openers. I hope that was helpful. If yes, please mark as helpful.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine
